  • Amazing Introductory Class for Canon DSLR Cameras

  • July 31, 2017
  • By: Janelle

I recently participated in this class at the Henry's Oshawa location which was led by Duke on July 30th. This class was an amazing workshop for those who are looking to understand the how to use their camera to its full potential. What I enjoyed the most about this class is that so many technical concepts were explained in simple language and in-class examples and situations that I was able to understand. Duke was able to not only teach the class about getting the most out of our cameras but also provided step-by-step in-class assignments which let us test out shots and formatting on our cameras. I was happy how hands on the course was focusing mostly on in-class participation rather than lots of note taking. Being in a classroom setting made a world of difference for me rather than simply finding information on the internet. Having other students ask questions you may not have thought of also helped me learn a lot and I was extremely happy with the class. Duke was able to answer all of our questions and was extremely friendly. At the end of the workshop I was extremely happy and excited to go and shoot. The take home course notes were also great and easy to understand. This is a great class for those beginning to experiment with their Canon DSLRs and wanting to understand how to improve their photos. I am looking forward to Photo 101 5 week class next week in Oshawa location

  • Excellent Orientation for Canon SLR Cameras

  • June 03, 2017
  • By: Carolyn

This course was an excellent orientation for understanding the controls and options available on Canon SLRs. The instructor, Daniel, made everything very clear including the differences among camera models, and he took the time to answer all questions and ensure that everyone in the class was keeping up with the topics. Having us actually perform the operations in class helped to ensure that we all understood how each function works. Following this class I feel comfortable and ready to start using the various camera functions and work on creating pictures that I'll be proud of. Having comprehensive class notes available will help me to recover from any memory lapses and provide an excellent reference. Thank you, Daniel.
