Jim Lamont was very knowledgeable and had no problem sharing his experiences, good and bad with us and gave great examples. Learned a lot in the 4 hours, Jim was great at answering questions and explaining the whys and wherefores. Highly recommend the course.

Excellent course and instructor (Jim Lamont)covering a huge amount of information with great examples and hands-on experience. It would have been nice to have even more time to continue into all the things LR can do, but this was a great overview to get me started and knowing where to find things to experiment with on my own. I wish I'd been able to take the Managing Photos course first, but it kept getting cancelled so I went ahead with this one. The instructor modified accordingly.
Great overview of all lightroom tools and how to use them. Lightroom 5 is in use now with its new tools also.
This course focuses on the Develop module of Lightroom 5. As an armature interested in improving my photo editing this was a highly successful and well spent 4 hours. More time would have been even better.
I have no background in Photoshop and expect that that would be a plus but not at all a requirement for this session. I left the class with a good enough overview to provide the foundation upon which to base continued self-learning of the program. This is exactly what I had hoped for.
The teacher, Jim Lamont, was excellent - able to distill complex concepts into something understandable which is an admirable skill. He breathes photography and hosted a wonderful class.
An excellent overview of common features of editing in Lightroom that will get photographers using the software.
My only concern is that it has not been updated to the current version 5 of the software yet (still using version 4 for instruction).
